Point11 - A Philsophy
October 2025
In 2017, our founder's son Dylan Lamaca missed qualifying for the Ontario high school provincial finals in the 400m hurdles by the narrowest margin just 0.11 seconds — a blink, but one that proves to be inspirational.
That narrow miss became the inspiration for our company name, Point11 — a reminder of the razor-thin edge between good and great, and the relentless pursuit of improvement that drives us every day.
Fast forward to today: Dylan has just completed his first half marathon — a reminder that success isn’t always about speed. The hurdles race was a sprint; this was endurance.
In business, just like in running, it’s easy to want quick wins — the sprint to the finish. But true, lasting results come from consistency, resilience, and the willingness to keep showing up when the pace gets tough.
It’s a powerful reminder that in life and in business, it’s not about how fast you start — it’s about staying the course. Business isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon.

This custom-made personalized Louisville Slugger isn’t just any baseball bat — it’s a 125 model, crafted from the highest quality wood designed for professional use.
It was a gift from a former client, Cardinal Carryor & Cardinal Integrated Systems from Louisville, Kentucky, nearly 20 years ago to our founder who is a big Toronto Blue Jays fan thanking him for helping salvage a failed material handling ERP project.

Homestead Growers & Amerigo Farms - Financial Clarity & Visibility

We’re excited to share that 3rdPedal, a respected professional services consulting firm, has introduced Point11 Consulting to Homestead Growers & Amerigo Farms – North America’s leading potted Calla Lily producer for over 30 years located in Vineland, ON, York, SC and Mt. Dora, FL. Through strategic partnerships with top growers and breeders in Europe and North America, it delivers unmatched quality. With facilities in Canada’s Niagara Region, Florida, and South Carolina, the company’s ongoing expansion ensures consistent excellence and the ability to meet growing demand year-round.

In partnership with Mprise Agriware, we are thrilled to work with Bonnie Plants, a century-strong leader in home gardening, as they take a major step forward in their digital transformation journey!
Bonnie Plants, founded in 1918, is the largest national supplier and producer of vegetable and herb plants in the United States. Bonnie grows more than 300 varieties of non-GMO vegetable and herb plants for gardeners across North America, with over 70 growing stations, serving the 48 contiguous states and Canada. Plants are trucked directly from greenhouse locations to Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe’s, and nearly 5,000 independent garden centers nationwide.

Six years ago today, I founded Point11 Consulting Inc. 47 clients later, I only wish I’d done it sooner.
Being your own boss is both liberating and terrifying. The pressure and stress of constantly chasing opportunities never goes away. But neither does the pride that comes from building something on your own terms. I wouldn’t trade that autonomy for anything.
This year marks a pivotal “point” in our journey — we’ve expanded with the launch of our new software company, Role Tailored Solutions Inc., dedicated to creating industry — specific solutions. This next chapter is all about scaling solutions for growth through software not just services.

Excited to share that, in collaboration with GreySuits Advisors Inc., we completed a deep-dive analysis at Lone Star Turbo to assess current challenges and identify opportunities for improving their use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Our work focused on optimizing their system to better support the demands of a rapidly growing business and laying the groundwork for integration with Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service.
